Dr Pelumi Olawale
BSc. MSc. DProf.
Hi, I’m Pelumi and I am the founder of Ronu, a dedicated psychological therapy & wellbeing practice based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I have always been interested in how thoughts can influence our feelings and actions and I am keen to inspire positive change in people and in particular, those who may have felt disadvantaged in life.
I have a particular interest in men’s mental health and I am keen to work with individuals who present with depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), trauma, emotional abuse & eating disorders. I strongly believe in creating a safe space for people to confidently express their emotions. I therefore aim to build genuine therapeutic relationships with my clients in order to help them explore their thoughts and feelings within a safe and non-judgmental environment.
I have a wide range of experience working with a diverse group of people in the community and NHS Mental Health Services. I am a graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Psychological Wellbeing and Mental health and a professional doctorate in Counselling Psychology from London Metropolitan University. I am also a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
